Raised in the UAE from the age of one, Safa Peshimam has built a multidisciplinary practice across art, writing, photography, public speaking and creative entrepreneurship.
Working under the artist name Kalopsia Wiz, she explores expression through a range of media, including painting, mixed media and coffee art.
Her journey includes two world records, international recognition and a UAE Golden Visa in the arts. She holds an MA in International Business Management with Marketing from Heriot-Watt University Dubai.
In December 2023, she founded Hayat Events & Arts with her sister Sarah, bringing her creative practice and business background together to build platforms for exhibitions, fashion, awards and cultural experiences.

As the Founder and Director of Hayat Events & Arts, she has redefined the UAE’s creative landscape through landmark exhibitions, fashion shows, and award platforms that unite art, culture, and community under one bold vision.
A self-taught, international award-winning artist, Safa wears many hats — International Ambassador, Digital Creator, Poet, Writer, Photographer, Public Figure, and Fashion Enthusiast. Her journey is marked by numerous global accolades recognizing her excellence in both art and poetry, including a recent feature in FAME Publication as one of the “Top 10 Public Figures.”
In 2022, Safa achieved a literary milestone by winning the prestigious Rabindranath Tagore International Literature Award for her poetry book “Elegy.” She has also been honored with the Gulf’s Achievers Award for Best Digital Creator, the UAE Achievers Award for her outstanding contributions to art and poetry, and the Global Pride Award for her remarkable artwork.
An artist at heart, Safa’s paintings evoke a symphony of emotion and identity, blending abstraction with spirituality, chaos with calm, and imagination with introspection. Each piece is a story of resilience, depth, and transformation.
As a poet, her words echo the same intensity as her art, raw, haunting, and deeply human. Her acclaimed book “When Silence Bleeds” bleeds truth, love, and survival through verses that speak where words often fail.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Safa is a philanthropist driven by purpose. In 2023, she donated one of her artworks to the Telavi Historical Museum in Georgia, a century-old institution, marking her global imprint as both an artist and a humanitarian.
